Everybody likes the open specious feeling of new homes. However looking at a homes location always plays a part in our decision of what home were going to buy. So often the challenge is to take a less desirable home, update it and make it feel like a newer home.
On this typical older Minnesota suburb project we took a galley kitchen and turned it in to the centerpiece of the home and it’s great for entertaining. By removing one of the load bearing walls opening up the kitchen to the rest a living space. Then gutting and installing custom cherry cabinetry with all the options to truly make this a functional and beautiful kitchen. It also features new maple flooring throughout the kitchen and family room tying the two spaces together. The kitchen also features granite countertops and new recessed lighting and pendent lighting over the island. Quite a transformation in only 10 days.
